Acres of private forested parcel, master planned in phases

Situated on over 21 acres east of Woodinville, this private forested parcel is nestled between adjacent estates. Our landscape design for this property maximized its partial views of the Cascade Range and Mount Rainier.

When the current homeowner purchased the estate with existing equestrian buildings, they envisioned building a new family home that embraced the equestrian style. After completing the architectural plans, they engaged their landscape architect to develop a long-range master plan for the estate.

Phase One included the entrance gates, driveway and motor court, front porches, flag garden, entertainment deck, fenced outdoor dog room, and a large play lawn. The master plan includes several additional phases, including a future pickleball court with a small observation patio, a covered structure for an outdoor kitchen and lounge area, and an adjacent custom plunge pool with a changing room.

The plant palette reflects the homeowner's vision for a 'Farmhouse Chic' style, featuring compact evergreen hedges for foundation plantings and evergreen conifers for privacy screens. Kousa dogwoods line the driveway edges, creating an elegant approach to the home. Red carpet roses, white azaleas, and variegated grasses provide vibrant pops of color throughout the landscape.
